A woman classified as a violent offender and already on probation was arrested after she was found to be in possession of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Wildwood.
Charnell Tamara Parker, 36, was in a vehicle that was pulled over Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of Dev’s Discount Beverage on Main Street. She had appeared to have switched seats and appeared to have concealed something, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
She attempted to provide a false identity, but was identified through the Rapid ID system.
An officer found a Newport cigarette pack which contained crack cocaine and a glass pipe.
Parker was taken into custody and booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
