Villager’s son arrested after yet-another beer run

Keith Barnum

A Villager’s son was arrested after yet-another beer run at a Circle K in The Villages.

Keith Barnum, 39, who lives with his mother on the Historic Side of The Villages, has been permanently banned from the Circle K at 3 LaGrande Blvd. He has previously stolen beer from the store and once groped a clerk. He was arrested earlier this year after snatching his sleeping mother’s car keys and then crashing the vehicle.

He entered the store early Monday morning and took three cans of Corona beer, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Barnum was arrested at his mother’s house at 730 Roseapple Ave. with the three cans of beer still in his possession.

Barnum was booked at the Lake County Jail on $3,000 bond.
