A Zephyrhills woman was killed in a car crash Tuesday afternoon in Pasco County.

Deanna M. Bahler, 52, of Zephyrhills was driving a 2003 Honda Accord westbound on Horton Road approaching U.S. 41 while James W. Moore, 34, of Spring Hill was driving a commercial truck northbound approaching U.S. 41, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report. Bahler entered the intersection and drove into in the path of Moore’s truck, causing the two vehicles to collide, the report stated.

Two passengers, 24-year-old Alan G. Schemitsch of Lutz and 21-year-old Giselle K. Oquendo of Tampa, were in Bahler’s vehicle at the time of the crash and were seriously injured. Both passengers were not wearing seatbelts.
