Woman with suspended Connecticut license arrested near Circle K in Wildwood

Erica Roy

A woman with a suspended Connecticut driver’s license was arrested Saturday night near a Circle K station in Wildwood.

Erica L. Roy, 37, of Wildwood, was at the wheel of a black Acura at 9:23 p.m. when she was pulling out of the station at 1001 Main St. and failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign before driving onto U.S. 301.

Roy was immediately pulled over by a Wildwood police officer who asked to see her driver’s license, registration and insurance information. She admitted to the officer that her Connecticut driver’s license had been suspended.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $500 bond.
