Woman sought in theft of merchandise from store at Lake Sumter Landing

A woman is being sought in the theft of merchandise last month from a store at Lake Sumter Landing.

The theft occurred on June 28 at Lime Light Apparel Gifts and Accessories at 1307 Canal St., according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

This woman is sought by law enforcement in the theft of merchandise from a store at Lake Sumter Landing.

The store owner reviewed security footage and saw a woman in a blue tie-dye dress remove items from the store, while a woman in a black dress concealed her from the clerk’s view.

A Village of Caroline woman was sentenced earlier this year in the theft of merchandise from the same store. She also was captured on video surveillance.
