Woman reports cell phone stolen from church

A cell phone was reportedly stolen from a church on Thursday in Ocklawaha.

A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the Ocklawaha United Methodist Church, located at 13333 East Highway 25 in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised someone had stolen her personal cellphone. She was not able to describe the make, model or color of the phone, but said it had a red rubber case. The cellphone is valued at $400.
