Woman driving vehicle without license plate screams vulgar language at deputy

Christine Michelle Smith

A woman pulled over Thursday night screamed vulgar language at a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy who initiated the traffic stop.

Christine Michelle Smith, 41, of Wildwood, was driving a Ford utility vehicle that did not have a license plate at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on County Road 229.

As the deputy approached the vehicle, Smith began screaming. There were three female juveniles in the vehicle, the arrest report noted.

A check revealed Smith had been ticketed on Wednesday by Wildwood police for driving a vehicle without a license plate.

She was arrested on a second-degree misdemeanor charge of failure to register a motor vehicle and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $500.
