Brandy Keller

A woman was arrested in the theft of merchandise at Target at Rolling Acres Plaza in The Villages.

Brandy Michelle Keller, 35, of Belleview, entered the store Sunday evening, selected clothing and jewelry and then went into a fitting room and tried on clothing for an hour, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She emerged from the fitting room and went to the shoe department when she was observed concealing merchandise in her large pink purse.

She left the store without paying for the merchandise, which was valued at $777.80.

A search of her purse turned up Fentanyl concealed in an eyeglass container.

She was arrested on charges of retail theft and drug possession. She was booked on $4,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
