A woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal shoes and socks from Kohl’s.

Angela Nicole Bell, 32, of Fruitland Park, entered the store Monday afternoon and put the socks and two pairs of shoes in her purse, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She ran from the store and was apprehended behind the Lady Lake Police Department. The stolen merchandise was valued at $132.66.

She was arrested on a charge of petit theft and booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $3,000 bond.

In 2016, Bell had been arrested after attempting to switch out her bra and panties at Belk in The Villages.
