William V. Smith

William “Bill” V. Smith, 84, of Summerfield, FL, passed away April 9, 2018.He was born July 21, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to William Virgil Smith and Ann Zahand Smith.

He was an Elementary Music Teacher and was employed by Bethel Park School District for over 30 years.He moved to Summerfield in 2004 from Pittsburgh.He was a veteran of the Army and a member of St. Paul Parish in Belleview, FL.He enjoyed tennis and performing, most recently as a guitarist with the Jazz Vagabonds.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Smith, sons, William R. Smith of CT, and Ronald S. Smith of IN, stepson, Mark A. Wittebort of PA, sister, Shirley A. (Fred) Lipa of PA, sister-in-law, Karen Arcuri , and five grandchildren.
