William ‘Bill’ Hunt

William “Bill” Hunt, age 85, of The Villages, FL, passed on to the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born in The Bronx, NY on May 27, 1932.

Bill started his career at Nabisco Inc when he was 20 years old and retired 40 years later as Accounting Manager.

Bill loved playing baseball and softball, and was an avid Yankees fan. His love of athletics extended to many other sports; particularly golf, which he enjoyed playing into his later years at The Villages. He also enjoyed coaching sports all of his life, both for individual youth teams and serving as Volunteer Director of Youth Sports in Milton, NJ. He was a member at St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Summerfield, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce (Geigle) Hunt; sons Kenneth Hunt (Robin) of Indian Beach, NC and Timothy Hunt (Cheryl) of Roseville, MN; daughter Marilyn Joy Hunt of Westchester, NY; sister Marjorie Houck of Delhi, NY; 4 grandchildren Natalie Lynne, Alex, Todd and Andrea.

Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held at St Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 SE Highway 42, Summerfield, FL 34491. The family may be contacted for details.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
