William ‘Bill’ Gunn

William “Bill” Gunn, 69, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018.

Bill and his wife Alice moved to The Villages from Hoffman Estates, Illinois in 2008. He was born in Gary, Indiana to William J, Sr. and Mary Ruth (Sittler) Gunn. He graduated from Indiana State University and served in The Marine Corps.

Bill was an avid reader and enjoyed learning about many different subjects. He loved to golf and fish.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Alice Gunn; several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A gathering in Bill’s memory will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida.
