Will Villagers be sacrificial lambs for self-driving autonomous cars?

To the Editor:

Are we Villagers becoming sacrificial lambs for this new enterprise of self-driving autonomous cars just so we can post The Villages are ahead of the curve?
Who is benefiting? The enterprise and the Developer at the safety and expense of the Villagers.
It is not just the unattended vehicle vs. the driver it is unattended vehicle vs. a smaller defenseless golf cart. Besides drivers being apprehensive about being near driverless cars and trying to avoid it , while doing so forget to watch the other traffic.
