To the Editor:
I believe everyone knows the agenda of President Trump and the platform of the Republican Party. Letting workers keep more of their income, aiding U.S. companies to compete in the world market, a conservative judicial system, less government involvement in people’s lives, a reasonable merit based immigration system, border security, a powerful military no nation dare challenge, fair trade deals, getting people off welfare to become self-reliant, productive citizens and so forth. Unfortunately, the liberals have constantly thrown obstacles at the conservative ambitions and concentrated on destroying the Trump presidency at any and all costs.
That liberal movement may be, at this point, what’s best for the Democrat Party. Maybe a failed Republican president is the answer to a liberal’s prayers. But what are the Democrats going to run on in November? If you’re opposed to everything President Trump stands for, what is your platform? What are you for? Higher taxes? More government involvement? A weak military? Open borders? In November, when someone asks you why are you supporting the Democrat Party (not opposed the Republicans), what’s your answer going to be?
