Wildwood woman arrested after allegedly punching man after driving his truck

A Wildwood woman was arrested after allegedly punching a man after she drove his truck without permission.

Terri Lynn Phillips, 47, was arrested Saturday afternoon on a charge of battery at her residence on County Road 118.

She allegedly grabbed the man by the neck and punched him in the face after he complained about her use of his truck earlier in the day. The man told Sumter County sheriff’s deputies that Phillips does not have a valid driver’s license.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $2,000 bond.
