A Wildwood man was pronounced dead Saturday after a single-vehicle early-morning accident.
Stephen Fogleman, 65, had been driving a 2007 Hyundai Entourage at 4:05 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 41 in Hamilton County when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. His vehicle traveled over the median and hit a street sign and then continued to travel, striking a fire hydrant and a barbed wire fence.
Fogleman was transported to UF Health Shands Live Oak where he was pronounced dead.
