We need an Arby’s in our part of Sumter County

To the Editor:

I am wondering while you’re sinking all of this money into only one side of the county. Could you be thoughtful enough to bring the poor folks on the other end a fast-food restaurant? Preferably an Arby’s.

Some nights I arrive home faced with a dilemma. I can either cook dinner, dirty up dishes and be miserable the entire time dreading the thought of cleaning the kitchen or I can drive a million miles to an Arby’s.

A quick examination of Google Earth would indicate to you our limited choice of restaurants. Go to the search bar and type in Sumter County Fl and see for yourself that the evidence is overwhelming. One side of the county appears packed with stores and restaurants, and the other end looks like a ghost town.

Let me clarify that I am not asking for a million dollars. I am only asking for a little ole fast food restaurant like Arby’s.

I hope you will consider my plea and use a small fraction of your funds and help the people on the other end of the county.
