We are the Greed Society

To the Editor:

How morals within a generation have changed.
I grew up in the 50’s, a time when integrity was paramount.  Not one of us in The Villages would’ve tolerated a child of ours to lie.  It was a time when many business deals were done with a handshake.
So what has changed?  We have a President and government where lying is acceptable and we remain quiet.
We live in a period where many have forgotten that the main message of any religion is to help the poorest among us.
We are the Greed Society, the destroyers of the planet.  Is this the legacy you want this generation to be remembered for?
All of us need to vote people into office that have the values we want represented.  I truly believe if you look deep inside yourself this government is not it.
Find people that inspire and lead, not name call and lie. Put those people in office and toss the trash we have in now out.
Search your soul and do the right thing, or be remembered in history as the “me” generation.
