Washington Post reporter visits Villages, covering 2016 presidential race

A reporter from the Washington Post has been visiting The Villages this week, examining the 2016 presidential race.

Mary Jordan, a past Pulitzer Prize recipient, is spending the week in Florida reporting on the White House contest.

She said she is talking to leaders in The Villages about the race, including two Floridians in the race, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio. Rubio paid a visit to The Villages this past week.

Jordan is the Washington Post’s national correspondent covering the 2016 presidential campaign.

She and her husband Kevin Sullivan, a fellow journalist, are the authors of the bestselling book, “Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland.”
