Virginia ‘VZ’ Zimmermann

Virginia “VZ” Zimmermann, 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Virginia will be remembered for her nurturing character; her children will always remember her caring concern for their welfare.

She was an incredibly creative person, expressing her talent in needle arts, paper crafts, painting and art classes.  She especially enjoyed the time spent with friends playing Mexican Train Dominoes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy and a grandson, Adam.

Virginia is survived by four children, Kim Pauley, Fernandina Beach, FL; Scott (Karen) Zimmermann, St. Augustine, FL; Mark Zimmermann, Dayton, Ohio and Suzanne(Robert)Trevillian, Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren; 4 and ½ great grandchildren and two nephew.

A memorial service for Andy and Virginia will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida.
