Vincent James LaSpina

Vincent James LaSpina, 86, passed from this life on Monday, August 13, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Amato) LaSpina.

Vincent was a hairdresser and salon owner of Vincent’s A-Cut Above of Rosemont, PA.

Vincent was a man of many talents. He was a world champion squash player, a computer artist in Adobe Art, and an accomplished clarinetist.

He and his wife, Dolores came to The Villages, FL in 2006. He enjoyed the lifestyle and the many friends he made throughout the years.

Besides his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda LaSpina. Vincent leaves his beloved wife of 65 years Dolores (Bondonna) LaSpina; sons Joseph L. (Shirley Star) LaSpina of The Villages, and Vincent J. “Skip” (Jane) LaSpina, Jr. of Frazer, PA; and sister Gilda (Angelo) LaSpina of King of Prussia, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162 on Wednesday, August 29, at 11 a.m. A Gathering will precede the service beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
