Villages resident arrested after police called to argument in Applebee’s parking lot

A Villages resident was arrested after police were called to an argument in the parking lot of Applebee’s.

Lady Lake police responded at 9 p.m. Sunday to the restaurant on Bichara Boulevard where a man and woman were arguing.

An officer found that the man, 32-year-old Erik Nathan Pruitt who lives at 1733 W. Schwartz Blvd. on the Historic Side of The Villages, was wanted on Charlotte County warrant charging him with failure to pay child support. The amount owed was $291, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released the following day after posting a $291 cash purge.
