Villages Regional Hospital parent company honored as one of top places to work in healthcare

Central Florida Health, the 636-bed not-for-profit healthcare system comprised of Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital, announced today that it has been named to the Becker’s Healthcare 2018 “150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare” list. This is the fourth consecutive year the organization has received this prestigious recognition.

“Being recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as one of their 150 Top Places to Work for the fourth time is an honor,” said Amie Richason, Vice President of Human Resources at Central Florida Health. “We place an extremely high importance on the satisfaction, growth and happiness of our team members.”

The organizations featured on this list offer benefits and opportunities for employees to build successful careers above and beyond the average healthcare provider or company; they encourage professional development and promote leadership from within. Many members of the list offer unique wellness and personal benefits to ensure employees strike a positive work/life balance as well as employee recognition programs to highlight their accomplishments.

“The Becker’s recognition, which includes some of the most prestigious healthcare organizations in the country, is another affirmation that Central Florida Health is a place where employees can achieve professional success and personal growth throughout their careers,” said Richason. “I am proud of all of our team members and their service to our patients, our health system and our region.”
