Villages Parrot Heads rounding up school supplies for students at Wildwood Middle High School

The Wildwood Middle High School students will be the focus of a drive by the Villages Parrot Heads for school supplies during the month of July. The highlight of this drive is a fundraiser set for 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at Cody’s in Brownwood.

“There is a great need often overlooked as the elementary kids are the focus of numerous charitable organizations. A recent meeting with Richard Hampton, Principal, inspired the Club, represented by Renie Larson and Marsha Herring, to get involved,” said Bob O’Neal of the Villages Parrot Heads.

A list of school supplies the teachers need may be found by going to the website http://villagesparrotheads.com/flyers.htm.

“Cash donations are also greatly appreciated by the teachers, who can then purchase supplies needed by the students,” O’Neal said.
The Parrot Heads will also be accepting supplies and cash donations at their 4 p.m. meetings at Palmer Country Cub on July and at Mallory Hill Country Club on July 9 and July 18.
