The Wildwood Middle High School students are the focus of a drive by the Villages Parrot Heads for school supplies during the month of July. The highlight of this drive will be a fundraiser from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 at Cody’s in Brownwood.

There is a great need often overlooked as the elementary kids are the focus of numerous charitable organizations. A recent meeting with Principal Richard Hampton inspired the Club, represented by Renie Larson and Marsha Herring, to get involved.

A list of school supplies the teachers need may be found by going to the website http://villagesparrotheads.com/flyers.htm.

Cash donations are also greatly appreciated by the teachers, who can then purchase supplies.
The Parrot Heads are also accepting supplies and cash donations at their 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 meeting at Mallory Hill Country Club.
