Villages of Parkwood woman arrested on warrant charging her with welfare fraud

A Villages of Parkwood woman has been arrested on a warrant charging her with welfare fraud.

Cindy Laraine Clark, 54, was taken into custody at 10 a.m. Saturday at her home at 4962 NE 124TH Drive, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

She is facing a third-degree felony charge of welfare fraud involving food stamps.

Clark was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $2,000 bond.
