The Villages has been named the No. 1 golf cart community in the United States by GolfCarting.com
No other community holds a candle to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown which is home to tens of thousands of golf carts and miles and miles of multi-modal paths.
Using a proprietary algorithm, GolfCarting.com’s staff compiled the list of the top golf cart cities in the United States for 2016.
“The community features tunnels and bridges under/over intersections so golf cart drivers don’t have to worry about fighting cars at intersections,” GolfCarting.com wrote in making its designation.
Runners-up include Peachtree City, Ga. and Sun City, Ariz.
