Villages Cellular Sales looking for employees ahead of store opening

Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium retailer, is planning to open a new store in The Villages this month, adding to its more than 90 locations in the Sunshine State.

The store, located at NWC 4232 E C-466, Suite 102, in front of Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Shopping Plaza, is slated to open on Monday, Aug. 15. Since it was founded in Knoxville, Tenn., in 1993, Cellular Sales has widely expanded and now operates approximately 550 stores nationwide.

“There are more Cellular Sales stores in Florida than any other state, and we’re continuing to grow,” Cellular Sales Regional Director Chris Keen said. “We’re very excited to be a part of the community here in The Villages.”

In seven of the past eight years, the company has made Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000, which recognizes the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies.

“Just like The Villages, we’re expanding at a remarkable pace,” Keen said. “We’re glad to be a part of this area and look forward to seeing it grow even more over the next several years.”

Individuals interested in applying for jobs at The Villages Cellular Sales store should contact Cellular Sales Recruiter Christine Bonfante at Christine.Bonfante@cellularsales.com or (407) 790-4937.
