Villages amenities packages not in great demand at assisted living facility

Elan Spanish Springs

Villages amenities packages are not in as great demand as once envisioned at an assisted living facility.
Elan Spanish Springs had initially secured 15 amenity packages for residents of the facility.
It was said that the availability of the amenities would be especially attractive to Villagers making the transition.
However, operators of the assisted living facility later concluded that they only needed seven amenity packages. Thus, eight of those packages are being returned to the Amenity Authority Committee ad the Village Center Community Development District.
In 2015, the AAC had recommended offering 300 amenity packages that could be provided to residents of independent living or assisted living facilities within The Villages.
The amenity packages and this arrangement are on the agenda for the VCCDD which will meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the District Office in Lake Sumter Landing.
