Villagers line up for butter burgers, curds at opening of Culver’s in Southern Trace

Villagers lined the walls of the new Culver’s during its grand opening Monday at Southern Trace Plaza.

The newest fast-food restaurant to join The Villages opens just one day after family-owned Habaneros, a Mexican restaurant that replaced Crispers. Culver’s replaces what used to be the Glitz on County Road 466, an interior design store.

The restaurant offers burgers, fries, and a collection of custards, concretes, curds and other Wisconsin favorites.

With the recent additions of Bowl Bar and Metro Diner, Culver’s joins a packed row of restaurants along County Road 466.
