A Villager reported damage to his vehicle left in a parking lot in The Villages.

The 76-year-old resident of Hickory Head Hammock said that Wednesday he left his gray Suburban parked at the back parking lot of Belk at La Plaza Grande, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He left the vehicle in the parking lot and got into his wife’s car so they could go out to eat. When he returned, he noticed a large scratch across the hood of his vehicle.

He told police that earlier in the day he had been to a doctor’s appointment and to Wal-Mart in Leesburg.
