Villager Pete Wahl elected vice chairman of Lake-Sumter State College Board of Trustees

Villager Pete Wahl has been named vice chairman of the Lake-Sumter State College Board of Trustees for 2017-18. He has served on the board since 2014.

R. Scott Blankenship, city manager for the City of Umatilla, has been chosen as the board’s chairman. He succeeds Kelly Rice, who will remain on the board.

Wahl was the longtime District Manager for The Villages and has been active in local organizations.
