Village of Woodbury woman reports theft of valuable ring

A Villager has reported the theft of a valuable ring from her home in the Village of Woodbury.

The ring is described as 14 karat gold with a large emerald surrounded by 12 small diamonds, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The 74-year-old woman reported that the ring had been purchased in December for $2,343.

She said she last wore the ring when she went out for the evening on Feb. 12. She noticed it was missing on Valentine’s Day.

After looking for the ring for a week, she concluded it had been stolen and contacted the sheriff’s office.
