Village of Osceola Hills at Lake Deaton woman claims drugs left in her car by ex-boyfriend

Stacey Walker

An oft-arrested Village of Osceola Hills at Lake Deaton woman claimed drugs discovered in her car were left there by her ex-boyfriend.

Stacey Lynn Walker, 41, who lives at 476 Zephyrhills Road, had been driving a gold Buick on Saturday afternoon in Oxford when she was stopped for speeding, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She had been traveling 45 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.

A small amount of marijuana was found in the car and a Ziploc bag containing heroin was found in Walker’s purse.

Ms. Walker was adamant the narcotics found were not hers and she does not use drugs. Ms. Walker believes the narcotics were left in the vehicle and her purse by her ex-boyfriend or someone else she gave a ride to,” the deputy wrote in the arrest report.

She was arrested and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.

Walker was arrested earlier this year. In that incident she became combative and had to be threatened with a taser.

She was arrested in 2016 on a charge of forgery.
