A Village of Belvedere couple’s son was arrested after a road rage incident involving a 16-year-old Sunday night on County Road 466.

The 16-year-old had been at the wheel of a white Ford F-150 involved in a minor crash with a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Bryan Edward Sharp at 8:35 p.m. at County Road 466 and Tatonka Terrace, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

A witness in the vehicle with the teen, described Sharp as “irate.” The witness said Sharp yelled at the teen and punched him through the window.

Sharp said he was trying to “scare” the teen by pointing his finger at him. He denied touching the teen.
