Village of Hemingway couple escapes injury in crash at Morse Boulevard and State Road 44

A Village of Hemingway couple gave credit to their airbags for preventing them from suffering serious injury in a crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Morse Boulevard and State Road 44.

A Village of Hemingway couple was traveling in this Ford Taurus when the collision occurred.

They had been traveling eastbound on State Road 44 in a Ford Taurus at about 3:40 p.m. when they were attempting to make a left turn onto Morse Boulevard. Their vehicle collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck which was westbound on State Road 44.

The truck’s right front end clipped the passenger side of Taurus, behind the rear end.

The Villagers’ vehicle’s side airbags deployed in the collision.

Their vehicle was towed from the scene.

This Dodge Ram truck sustained front-end damage.
