Trump can’t even honor the service of John McCain

To the Editor:

With great pomp and circumstance this past week, the Yellow-Haired Buffoon once again showed his true colors during the ceremony surrounding his signing of the NDAA which, as many of you probably don’t know, is formally known as the “Sen. John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act”, a well-earned distinction bestowed upon one of America’s true heroes.
Mr. B spent nearly 28 minutes lauding the bill and not once did he mention the name of John McCain. Not surprising but, oh, so disappointing. This is the same Mr. B. who declared that John McCain was an American hero “…only because he was captured; and I don’t like people who were captured…”
This from a man who avoided one day of service to his country with four college deferments, and a fifth because of “bone spurs” on his feet which miraculously healed themselves once the universal draft was discontinued.
This latest embarrassment to the American people, to America’s military and to the Congress once again proves that he is nothing more than an egotistic, rude, crude, juvenile and ignorant boor. Those ignorati out there who still pledge fealty to this sorry individual should be ashamed of yourselves. But as Forrest Gump once noted: “Stupid is as stupid does.”
