Traffic impacted on Morse Boulevard after utility crews called to emergency near postal station

Southbound traffic was halted Tuesday evening on Morse Boulevard between County Road 466 and Rio Grande Avenue.

Utility crews and Community Watch were at the scene near the De La Vista postal station where bright orange lines had been spray-painted around an apparent hole in the roadway. Water was seen coming from the hole in the roadway.

Emergency workers were watching over the service line break near the De La Vista postal station.

District Manager Richard Baier reported that it was a “small service line break.” He said it would be shut off for the night and repairs would be made Wednesday.
