Tip jars for entertainers at the town squares

To the Editor:

Lately, I have noticed some of the entertainers on the square have been putting out tip jars. I know they get paid and my monthly amenities fees should be covering this, but I find it is extremely offensive to see this. I am not in a bar and they don’t take requests so why are they permitted to put a tip jar on a chair in the dance area? Plus, it diminishes the ambience of The Villages.
