Timothy ‘Tim’ Harrison

Timothy (Tim) Harrison 75, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 6th. He went peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

He proudly served his county as a United States Marine and was a Vietnam veteran continuing as a member of the VFW for many years. After college, he worked for the Florida Power and Light Company for 22 years where he made long lasting friendships. He had a passion for sailing and a love for flying radio controlled model airplanes.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife Joan and daughters Mandi Earlywine of Dallas TX, Jennifer and Kevin Lau of Milliken, CO and grandchildren. He also leaves behind brothers Billy and George with wife Pilar Harrison.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 14 at 10 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, 1123 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748.

Following the service there will be a military ceremony at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. There will be a gathering of friends at the Harrison family home in Leesburg from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
