Three men have been arrested in connection with a burglary over the July 4th weekend at the Villages of Fruitland Park construction site.
Fruitland Park police officers investigated the burglary in which property valued at more than $4,000 had been taken.
On Tuesday, three suspects were taken into custody. The property has been recovered.
Arrested were:
• Ty M. Holm, 19, of Leesburg, is facing charges of burglary, unoccupied structure burglary, conveyance grand theft from a construction site, trespass of a posted construction site, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief
• Jacob T. Coleman, 20, of Leesburg, is facing charges of burglary, unoccupied structure burglary, conveyance grand theft from a construction site, trespass of a posted construction site, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief
• Richard J. Gugliuzza, 19, of Leesburg, is facing charges of tampering with physical evidence, trespass, posted construction site, and resisting an officer without violence
This was the first reported criminal activity on the property being developed, according to the Fruitland Park Police Department.
