Three Amenity Authority Committee incumbents decide whether they’ll seek another term

Three Amenity Authority Committee incumbents have decided to seek another term in office:

• Carl Bell, who represents Community Development District 1 and serves as chairman of the AAC, has indicated he will be running for another term.

• Ann Forrester, who represents Community Development District 2 and serves as vice chair of the AAC, has indicated she will seek another term.

• Lowell Barker, who was first elected four years ago to represent Lady Lake/Lake County, has indicated he will be seeking a second term.

The election, which will be determined by landowners north of County Road 466, will be held Nov. 6. No one has filed to run against the incumbents.

The AAC oversees amenities north of County Road 466.

Committee members are not compensated.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
