The Space Force is overdue

To the Editor:

You might want to rethink your position on a Space Force. The country that controls space can control the world without firing a shot on the ground. Think where we would be if Russia or China took out our satellites: Communication is gone, banking is gone, ship and airplane navigation (and GPS to Grandmas) is gone.  Our Air Force is grounded.  Our Navy is at the dock.  Our ICBM force is grounded.
Cost ? Yes it will cost but the jobs and security provided will be money well spent.  The Space Force is over due in my opinion.
