Temple Shalom Sisterhood to present ‘A Night of Jewish Music’

Temple Shalom Sisterhood presents A Night of Jewish Music: From Shtetl  to Broadway at 7 p.m. Saturday Jan. 14. This show highlights Wonderful Selections from Classic Yiddish Theatre to Al Jolson and Fiddler on the Roof. The following are scheduled to appear: Linda Goldberg, Carol Greenfield, Nancy Heyman, Carolyn Hoffman, Phyllis Kalter, Bill Krone, Alexandra Rae, Sue Schuler, Syd Tenenbaum and Michele Uss.  Some of the players are from the Villagers production of Fiddler on the Roof and will reprise their show-stopping songs. The show is at Temple Shalom  13563 C.R. 101, Oxford, FL 34484. Call 352-748-1800 to reserve your tickets or for questions. Cost is Temple Members—$12 per person; General Public—$15 per person. A portion of the proceeds benefit Hadassah Medical Research.
