When a deputy arrived to investigate, Benjamin said she had consumed three drinks at the Dallas Inn about 20 minutes earlier, according to the arrest report. She told the deputy she was, “drunk.”

She failed field sobriety exercises and refused to recite the alphabet. At one point she told the deputy, “arrest me.”

She provided breath samples that registered .181 and .179 blood alcohol content.

She was booked at the Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
