Summerfield man jailed on $10,000 bond following arrest in Lady Lake

A 22-year-old Summerfield man was arrested on a charge of drivingĀ  with a suspended license Wednesday morning in Lady Lake.

James R. Darby was pulled over by Lady Lake police for not wearing a seatbelt, according to an arrest report.

The arresting officer had arrested Darby on Jan. 19 for driving on a suspended license and was aware that Darby shouldn’t be driving.

His license had been suspended following a conviction for driving under the influence.

He was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended and ticketed on a charge of driving without a seatbelt.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $10,000.
