A 48-year-old Summerfield man was arrested in an incident that partially blocked off a section of Rolling Acres Road at about 5 p.m. Thursday.

Taken into custody was Keith Wade Harris.

He had apparently call 911 on himself, said Sgt. James Vachon of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

A Lake County EMS ambulance had been used to block a truck Harris had been driving on Abeble Road at Rolling Acres Road, about one-quarter mile north of the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and Lake Ella Road.

That truck was later towed from the scene.

Four Lake County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to the scene as well as one patrol unit from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Harris was seen exiting the ambulance and then handcuffed and placed into the back of one of the LCSO patrol units.

Harris has been jailed on charges of driving while license suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia. Records indicate that Harris is a habitual offender and has refused in the past to submit to DUI testing.

Bond has been set at $11,000.

Keith Harris is taken into custody Thursday by Lake County sheriff's deputies.
