Storm pipe inspections begin next week in Community Development District 4

Inspections on the storm pipes in Community Development District 4 are scheduled to begin on May 29, weather permitting.

The inspections will include streets off of Belle Meade Circle east of Buena Vista Boulevard and are part of the operational effort in the ongoing National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program. While the inspections take place, the roads will be partially blocked. Those traveling in the area are asked to use caution in this area and pay attention to all directional signage and workers directing traffic.

CDD 4 residents have previously expressed suspicion about the role aging storm pipes might have played in recent sinkholes that have plagued residents of the Village of Calumet Grove.
