State Fire Marshal’s office investigating residential fire in Ocala

Marion County Fire Rescue units were dispatched at 11:18 p.m. Saturday to a fire at a residence at 10680 SE 25th Ave. in Ocala.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at 11:23 p.m. and found heavy smoke and flames venting through the roof.

The fire was called under control at 11:46 p.m. The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office.
