Speed bumps have been removed at a controversial intersection in The Villages.
The speed bumps had been in place for more than a decade at the entrance to the Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter.
The word “STOP” has been painted along with a stop bar on both sides of the multi-modal path that intersects with the roadway.
